Shock Absorbers

By Gal Aharon

Part of the suspension system, shock absorbers transfer kinetic energy to another form of energy, typically heat. The energy is then dissipated to the surroundings.

By converting the kinetic energy, shock absorbers make the ride smoother and the car easier to control. On average, shock absorbers should last at least 4 to 5 years. However, it is completely dependent on the vehicle usage and durability of the original parts.
