Currently, Engie is only available for android devices. The iOS version will be available very soon.
The device connects to your vehicle’s computer and communicates with the Engie app via Bluetooth. Nearly all cars built since 2001 have a port for the device under the dashboard.
Connecting the device to your car is an easy, one-time process that can be done independently. After an initial connection, the device enables communication between the application and the car’s computer, allowing for regular status reports on the car’s condition.
You can connect to more than one car with Engie, but you cannot access both cars at the same time. To connect to a different vehicle, change your personal settings to specify the make and model of the car you would like to connect to.
The Engie device is approved by the Ministry of communication, and using Engie with the device does not violate its manufacturer warranty.
The OBD2 socket is usually located under the vehicle’s dashboard. You can find the exact place of the socket in your car using the Engie device page in the app.
Engie is available to order online from our third party supplier. You can find the link on the website and in the Engie application.
Most gasoline-engine cars made after 2001, and diesel-powered cars since 2004 are supported by the app. You can see whether your specific vehicle is supported during the registration process after downloading the application.
TEngie’s system is designed for your convenience- your car’s information is not shared with anyone except for you and your mechanic.
